The KIM development team is pleased to announce the release of version 1.9.6 of the KIM application programming interface (API). This release includes the addition of 'install –force' and 'install OpenKIM_with_history' options to the collections-management utility and bug fixes.
Version 1.9.6 includes the following changes:
Updated INSTALL file
Added 'install OpenKIM_with_history' and 'install –force' options to the collections-management utility
Collections-management utility now cleanly handles an unaccessible openkim.org
Fixed bugs and made improvements to build system
