He was employed in the italian supercomputing center CASPUR in the Materials Science division of the HPC department, where he implemented algorithms and potentials for classical molecular dynamics (Stillinger-Webber, Tersoff, EDIP, EAM, etc) and tight binding software for multiple core/node using scalable algorithm and HPC libraries. Later in CINECA he extended his experience in other fields of science and research such as financial models and Oil&Gas solutions. Description of Work: Long experience in algorithms and methods for Computational Materials Science, High Performance Computing, code optimization, parallel programming paradigms and heterogenous computing. He is currently a senior developer in the Industrial Projects and Services Unit at the SuperComputing Applications and Innovation (SCAI) Department at CINECA where he develop and maintain Oil&Gas numerical codes, CFD accelerated code and many other community programs. He is still active in many molecular dynamics code implementations and enhancements for materials science, chemistry and pharmaceutical industrial solutions. He is author and teacher of many CINECA HPC courses on C/C++ programming, MPI/OpenMP parallel programming, GPU computing and Deep Learning techniques.
