In response to user feedback, the openkim.org website has been redesigned to simplify common tasks. Users are greeted with a periodic table and three buttons above it.
To find an interatomic model (potential), click on the desired element to be taken to a list of interatomic models for that species. The selection can be narrowed to models that support multiple species after clicking.
To find test results (properties predicted by interatomic models) for a given species, first click on the "Tests" button above the periodic table, then select the desired element. (An ability to narrow selection for multiple species is coming soon.)
To upload content (interatomic model or reference data), click on the "Contribute a Model or Data" button above the periodic table, and follow the step-by-step instructions.
All other actions (such as downloading the KIM API, browsing the KIM repository, and support) are accessible through the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
We hope you find the new interface helpful. We always welcome comments and suggestions, contact us at support@openkim.org
