We are happy to announce the release of a new snapshot of the OpenKIM models library (openkim-models-2021-01-28) which we distribute in compiled binary form through numerous delivery methods.
This release includes 517 models (432 are Portable Models that work in all simulation engines that support the kim-api standard, e.g. LAMMPS, ASE, DL_POLY, ASE, GULP, etc.; and 85 are Simulator Models that work in just one of these simulators).
Compiled binaries of the openkim-models library can be obtained from your favorite package manager (Homebrew for macOS, Ubuntu Linux, openSUSE, Fedora, FreeBSD, Arch Linux, and Conda). To learn more, see the documentation for obtaining KIM models for instructions and details.
