You can use OpenKIM resources without logging in. However, we encourage you to become a KIM Member. KIM is more than just an online resource, it is an emerging standards organization for molecular simulations. Becoming a member is free and will provide you with the following benefits:

  • Members can vote on KIM issues (selection of KIM Board members and KIM Officers, referenda on strategic topics related to KIM)
  • Members can contribute content (interatomic models, simulation tests, comments to forums)
  • Members receive e-mail on KIM developments (if they wish to)
