Vasily Zhakhovsky has thirty years of experience with applications of particle methods like Molecular Dynamics, direct Monte-Carlo, and SPH for simulations in shock wave physics, detonation and laser-matter interaction. He developed several EAM potentials (Al, Au, Cu, Fe, Na, Ni, Pd, Ru, Sn, Ta) using the stress-matching method proposed by him in [V.V.
