Moon-ki Choi is a research assistant at the University of Minnesota. He received his B.Sc and M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea in 2016 and 2018.
Description of Work —
Moon-ki Choi's research mainly focuses on understanding the physics of 2D material systems.
1. Continuum representation of various 2D materials by atomistic simulation.
2. Dynamic and static simulation of 2D materials, considering environment and substrate effect.
3. Dynamic simulation of the construction of twisted bilayer graphene.
4. Development of software package for atomistic 2D material system construction and automated tests.
